The cabin is situated roughly 25 miles northeast of Big Timber on the Hailstone Ranch in Southern Montana.  Originally used solely by the family, the cabin is fully renovated and provides all the required comforts for the single recluse or small family.

Hailstone Ranch is one of the oldest, most established cattle ranches in the area, extending over 11.500 acres and owned and managed by the Langhus family.
