Elk, Black Bears, Mountain Lions, Coyotes, Mountain Goats, Deer, Antelope - Montana's wildlife is varied and fascinating and offers an ideal opportunity for hunting and fishing. Our ranch is the home of a large resident herd of elks with alot of bulls. In order to protect your own interests of a fair hunting time and to protect the nature we limit the number of hunters per week. We try to balance out your wish of having a wonderful experience chasing the trophy of your dreams against a peaceful growing up of Montanas wildlife on our 11,500 acres private property. The "mule deer" like to stay on the higher parts of the ranch whereas the "whitetale deer" are at home on the creek bottoms. The bow and arrow hunting season is in September and early October, a time of indescribable elk bugling. The rifle hunting starts late in October and November when the mountain snows drive the big bucks to lower grounds.

Fly-Fishing

About 3 miles of Big Timber Creek with a wonderful small waterfall run through our private property. Enjoy your fly-fishing for several kinds of trout in a beautiful fresh mountain stream that comes directly from the melting snow of the Crazies! No one disturbes you and your ambition of having a peaceful fishing time because we limit the number of anglers as well. You will not sit in a row next to someone else. You are the only one on your part of the creek. It will be one of the most peaceful experiences listening to the light murmur of the fresh water running over smooth stones and smelling the reviving cool air.
